Geno Segers is an actor who has an active background in many fields of entertainment and athletics. While he has acted in many TV shows and movies, he is best known for playing Chayton Littlestone in Cinemax's “Banshee” in 2013.

// An Inspiration for the Youth

At first glance, Geno's formidable size, impressive athleticism, and deep and sometimes scary voice are what catch people’s attention. However, when you start peeling all that back, you reveal a guy who has always had a genuine love for people. His compassionate nature shows through his work outside of the limelight as an influential motivational speaker.

With Scotty Miller and Michelle McMiller, Geno co-founded "Hold It On The Road" in 2011. Through this foundation, Geno uses motivational speaking to encourage the youth to make good life decisions. By doing this, he is able to help them make positive impacts on their future.

// Joining the Entertainment Industry

After his career in athletics, Geno went on to manage several small businesses. However, he eventually made his way into the entertainment industry.

He got his first taste at acting after his friend suggested that he should try voice-over work. Possessing a deep, naturally rich voice, Geno agreed and first auditioned for voice ads for a radio station in New Zealand. His impressive voice got him enough attention to attract an agent's ear.

He eventually tried out for Disney's Australian stage production of "The Lion King." It only took one audition for many to see that he was a natural Mufasa that commanded the stage. He got the role, and since then, he has worked in many TV and film productions. Until now, he continues to break new ground and establish himself as an actor we should all be watching and following.

// Educational Background and Athletic Achievements

Geno grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and graduated from East Forsyth High School. During his high school years, he achieved all-state honors in football and wrestling and his achievements included him in the East Forsyth Hall of Fame. Because of his impressive performance as an athlete, he earned a full-ride football scholarship at Western Carolina University (WCU).

After earning All-American honors as a defensive end, he moved to Charlotte, NC and played minor league football for the Barons. Geno eventually returned to WCU and earned his BS Industrial Engineering degree after helping the Barons win a national title.

He then set his sights on becoming an international rugby player. After making the USA national rugby league team, Geno moved to New Zealand where he played for the Richmond Rovers. In addition to playing rugby, he went on to be successful in other sports, such as cliff diving and sumo and full-contact wrestling.
